Community Building

Today, the Community Building houses the
Library and meeting rooms.



Meetings & Guest Speakers

You are welcome to join us at our regular meetings to learn about interesting citizens, events and sites of historical importance in our township and surrounding area.

Our meetings are held at 7:30 pm on the 3rd Monday of the month from January to April and September to November. Most meetings take place at the Lansdowne Community Building (1 Jessie Street, Lansdowne). However, you may email us to confirm the next meeting location and the scheduled guest speaker.

We strive to make our meetings accessible to all, please let us know if we can facilitate your comfort. Call a member of the Executive or email us.

Monday, October 16 at 7:30 p.m. - The History of the Gananoque Reporter by Paul Scott.
In the Seniors' Room at the Community Building.

Monday, November 20 at 7:30 p.m. - Leeds and 1000 Islands Historical Memories in honour of Canada's 150 by Curtis Jackson.

CANCELLED: Monday, December 4 at 7:30 p.m. - A Public Meeting - Come for Food & Fun - Historical Artifacts on Display and there will be a special vote of the membership concerning additions to the 2017 -2018 Budget. Public Welcome, only Members can vote.
