Brian R. Phillips (1952 – Oct 28, 2025)
A Lifetime Member of our Historical Society, Brian researched and designed 23 heritage interpretive signs for our Township, both privately and through his business Outcraft Services Inc. (1990-2014) We believe his last sign project was “The Railway in Lansdowne”, unveiled on Grand Trunk Avenue at Prince Street, June 3. 2023. The sign was financed by Bill Boulton our founding president and researched by our current president Wilhelmina Lacelle. The significance of the railway to the village from 1856 to 1967 is presented in image and text, and Brian spoke to a good-sized, outdoor crowd about the process.
